Pros

Flexible schedule. Asynchronous work. I have a high degree of ownership in the projects, mainly because of my extensive marketing and management background. The comfort of my office. Work with my configuration. I don't waste time traveling. Close to family

Cons

Lack of interactions. I have fewer opportunities to develop soft skills and learn from colleagues. Working alone as one person team, I need to put in extra effort to be very critical with my work. Working for a very closed/niche market for luxury clients, I usually can't roll open usability tests. It is energy-demanding to be responsible for all the processes, from research to high-fidelity prototypes.
