Room for advancement and lots of overtime available
Cons
Overtime can be too much but that's the events service industry. Long hours are great when hourly but if you are salary then it can be tough.

Pros
* Freeman attracts the best of the best when it comes to its people. It is rare if someone leaves Freeman or the industry. Pre-covid they had employees who had been there 30+ years and were visibly proud of it. * Pre-Covid, they were hiring a lot of younger professionals who were just starting out in the Events Industry space. They are looking to invest in the future talent for the company. * Lots of opportunity for growth - you don't need to be an expert in trade shows to work in this industry. * Opportunity to travel often as a BDM, CSM, and/or Live Event Producer. * Freeman has a broad reach when it comes to other industries/work - we hold clients in almost every industry including healthcare/medical, military, energy, sports, entertainment, beauty, hospitality, etc. * It's a well known company...in the events space.
Cons
* As an Event Producer, you are traveling a lot in the Spring and Fall (not great if you have kids or other priorities at home). * Salary comparison from hourly to salary is disappointing (if you start out hourly). You do well in your first couple years having worked so many OT hours, and then get slammed with the same amount of work as a salaried employee but at a much lesser salaried amount. * Yearly bonus is determined 75% based on company outcome and profits, and only 15% on personal success and professional development. * Events Industry as a whole has taken a huge hit due to COVID-19. Not an ideal time to enter into this industry.
