Pros

This is a fast paced company that keeps on the cutting edge of the meeting and conference industry. They are very result oriented as opposed to hours oriented. So, one week you may put in 30 (for full time employees) and then another week 50-60. They even out very well and I love the freedom they give to perform your best.

Cons

Career paths are not totally clear. It takes time to understand the culture and it is difficult to move up. As with many larger organizations, you have to be able to play to the politics and know the right people to get the right promotions.

Pros

Freeman is a family owned business that provides good benefits and great working environment. They really care for their employees. Freeman is also very good at show management and setting the creative vision for their customers. They have some very talented people working for them. It was a pleasure to work for them.

Cons

Because the of their specialized business they do not understand the need to develop more operational systems and process. Each branch operated differently and this sometimes caused problems.

Pros

Good co-workers Entry Level Positions Pay seems to be a tad higher than most AV companies (PSAV etc.)

Cons

Bad co-workers Too many chiefs, not enough Indians Supervisors are lazy, management is unfair A lot of know-it-alls A lot of responsibility Long hours I have been scheduled a 5 hour shift (no lunch) yet I ended up working 9 hours straight, and still got a lunch deducted that I didnt take. No reimbursement for 30 minute deduction 12 hour days sometimes
