Pros

I wish I had a lot. You get a discount on produce The benefits from Sysco are very, very nice

Cons

Senior leadership is devoid of Empathy, Humility, Compassion. Narcissism is often confused with leadership ability... Extremely long hours no matter what might be told to you. No room for advancement. Senior HR leadership has no perspective of culture outside the company and how FreshPoint can improve on things, and your voice will not be heard unless you have a more significant job title. Promotions are based on seniority and not the best fit for the position. Rampant favouritism! NO SUPPORT!!!! Whatsoever! You will never get any!

Pros

Good insurance, 401K matching, Vacation is good if you are here 15+ years

Cons

No employee appreciation and everyone seems to be replaceable in management's eyes. Asked to work weekends and extra hours on month end. Was "promoted" with a new job title and not given a raise nor offered an office. No flexibility to work remote even though I come to my cubicle and really don't collaborate with anyone any differently then I would via Microsoft Teams (but they expect me to work from home on weekends when they need me). It's just not an enjoyable place to work and COVID made me realize this. My manager values me A LOT as does my CFO, but that doesn't equate to any freedom to work remotely (not even one day a week) nor is it recognized with a pay increase. Just tired of being taking advantage of.

Pros

Freedom from an office setting.

Cons

Working Customer Service shifts for over a year- others were not asked to help- taking time to hire new people to help alleviate strain, in addition to sales goals and expectations. Work rotating Monday night and Saturdays, only department to take a pay decrease in covid and have their job duties doubled, VP not transparent with pay or leads, favoritism, the President actively gossips and talks about employees to others, including to nonmanagers, lack of female representation in leader roles, lack of diversity on sales team and in management, unclear goals- will change from week to week- cases? margin? Month over month? Impossible to track. HIGH turnover in sales and sales leadership- was a new manager every year until 2018/2019.
