My Journey at FPA

Pros

I turned down my dream medical school to continue on my career path at FPA and here are some of the reasons why: - The growth into successful positions. The opportunity for expansion. - My personal development (Ive grown more confident, healed internally, and grew positive relationships) - My professional development (I’ve learned a lot about leadership, management, marketing, and overall business) - The team ! Very diverse but all so positive. We can laugh and joke around but also maintain professional business standards. Some even helped me move when I didn’t have much external help. - The mentorship. The CEO has an open door policy and extends to everyone the time to network and develop. He’s also very understanding of situations when they arise and is willing to work w them. Truly, the list goes on but I shall end it here with my main points as to not overwhelm or even bore the reader.

Cons

To be quite frank, I have thought and thought about what to place here and I quite literally can’t come up with a single negative. In my personal experience, I mesh very well with the environment and all I can say is others may not.

Pros

I don't think there are any pros that outweigh the cons

Cons

I find it especially interesting that on LinkedIn they list multiple different job titles to apply for however, they are all for the same role which is just selling to people day in and day out. The "events" are not events but pop up booths where you stand inside a grocery store and have to try to convince every single person to stop and buy internet from you. You will be paid less than minimum wage while working 6 days a week and selling in these grocery stores for more than 2/3rds of your day everyday. You could make more money working less hours and working in a field that will actually be fulfilling for you unless you like misleading people to buy something from you that they already have or don't actually need. They claim that this is not a job but a career path but in my opinion it's not worth it. Mainly because they lied to trick you into thinking this is someone more than it is. It is fully sales and you deserve a work life balance. They are going to tell you that they are only hiring a few applicants and that you're the top 10% or something along those lines but there will be multiple new hires everyday. A lot quit quickly because it's not what we were led to believe it was. I strongly advise not to work here because you will find something that is better and more transparent with you. It is not worth it.
