Pros

I don't think there are any pros that outweigh the cons

Cons

I find it especially interesting that on LinkedIn they list multiple different job titles to apply for however, they are all for the same role which is just selling to people day in and day out. The "events" are not events but pop up booths where you stand inside a grocery store and have to try to convince every single person to stop and buy internet from you. You will be paid less than minimum wage while working 6 days a week and selling in these grocery stores for more than 2/3rds of your day everyday. You could make more money working less hours and working in a field that will actually be fulfilling for you unless you like misleading people to buy something from you that they already have or don't actually need. They claim that this is not a job but a career path but in my opinion it's not worth it. Mainly because they lied to trick you into thinking this is someone more than it is. It is fully sales and you deserve a work life balance. They are going to tell you that they are only hiring a few applicants and that you're the top 10% or something along those lines but there will be multiple new hires everyday. A lot quit quickly because it's not what we were led to believe it was. I strongly advise not to work here because you will find something that is better and more transparent with you. It is not worth it.

Pros

Some (and I reiterate some, not all) of the other people who work there are genuinely good, hardworking individuals. Sadly though, they have fallen for the brainwashing and don’t realize that their value and hard work would be appreciated and more fairly rewarded elsewhere.

Cons

Far too many to list individually. Suffice it to say how we, that had at least 2 people not directly lied in answering my very pointed questions during the interview process, I would never have even pursued the position and wanted my time. In a nutshell, abhorrent pay, no benefits (ever), attempts to prey upon the naive and brainwash. If you want to spend your time for 6-8 hours Mon-Sat stopping/bothering shoppers at the grocery store/Walmart with some ridiculous memorized script and attempt to badger them to purchase a Spectrum subscription or cell phone (those are the marketing “events they speak of but will never describe, no matter how many times you ask for examples during the interview), then this is the job for you! Otherwise, run the other direction…
