Pros

Salary is ok, but not much chance for advancement unless you are well connected to the CEO.

Cons

Leadership team could not think their way out of a paper bag. They do not consult with former Verizon mgt employees on anything, which has resulted in large scale mistakes. For example, FiOS TV exit strategy totally messed up to the point an outside consulting firm had to be brought in. Sr leadership team has lied to employees and I have been asked to lie as well (which I refuse to do).

Pros

The other talented beings who worked there

Cons

From the CEO to the bottom directors. Many of this management team were down right awful. They want to micromanage but cant keep up their promises, the requests of employees, and has no compassion. Their attitude is, "you are lucky you have a job" attitude and will treat the teams like that. The upper management team has decided to let their NOC tier 2 switch team and switch translations team go. These are the teams who know the network, who know how to assist in troubles when their lack of knowledge IMT and surveillance team cannot and will not do the simplest fixes. They hired a contract company which is in the US but has people from from Chennai ATTEMPT to do what the switch tier 2 team did. They have no clue and cannot barely troubleshoot the higher level incidents that this team said they could. Techs in the field are outraged they dont have the assistance they had. That's because most of those techs are riffed the same way and they have these techs managing multiple sites that have different equipment they never worked on. But they could always depend on the tier 2 switch team to assist. After you riff that type of talent, know your company is about to shut down or get sold off. That's exactly what they are doing now. Selling off pieces of the company trying to STILL KEEP their exact bonuses and let go of hard working great people. No loyalty, no real concern about Americans keeping a career and be able to retire from. Those days are over for many who are coming up in the telecom world.

Pros

Work life balance. Thats it, nothing else. Stay away dont get a job here there are so many other companies

Cons

Bunch of amateurs running the company to the ground. Health insurance sucks, 3 % 401 matching, no bonus they say they do but then the company sucks and dont pay it out.
