Completely absent CEO. Lined his pockets and ran to the hills.
Out of their depth, clueless leadership team. I was told at one point by a director "We're making this up as we go along". Says it all.
Poor company culture. Unless you're of a certain pay-grade or title, feedback and recommendations are ignored. Product managers are empowered and given full power to run everything and can't be questioned, this comes from the painfully poor leadership at the very top. Backstabbing and complaining to mangers occurs frequently.
A lot of lip service about caring about employees, yet half the company has been made redundant without notice. We were told internally another company was recently 'acquired' however it seems this was a merger and those roles are now advertised by the 'acquired' company 10up.
Promotions are dangled as carrots, but poor excuses are made when they aren't given even if goals are achieved.
Lots of advertised benefits but they were slowly removed. 'unlimited vacation' is a lie, all vacation requests are questioned, to the point you feel guilty for requesting them.
Very untrustworthy company.
