      Pros

      It's a paycheck, albeit a shrinking one.

      Cons

      Insert mini novel here. The pay never rises to even meet cost of living increases. I have been with FAI for a very long time and have received no pay increases. Our recent "rah rah" meeting included acknowledgement by senior leadership that we minions are all overworked and to continue the good fight. It was also conveyed that all star performers would be given a pay increase for their dedication to the party's agenda. Nothing was mentioned about pay increases for all of the contributing resources who assisted the star performers in achieving star performer status.

      Pros

      The pay is good and benefits are decent.

      Cons

      As in many organizations, the sales department is king. Promises made by sales filters down to service implementers and support staff without concern to actually service the customer. Many teams are understaffed and everything is "high priority." Support staff is left to clean up the mess from poorly defined sales contracts where little or no planning was conducted beforehand. This leads to very long work weeks and weekend work. Plan on working 50-75 hour weeks if you are in a support role.
