Return to office is a policy which makes no sense. For eg, my team is split at various locations and shifts. My project is not ready to provide transportation for employees and wants us to sacrifice our time, money and effort and use our own resources like public transport which will also not be reimbursed. Secondly they have a system wherein your EM is supposed to upload your shift schedule according to your roster made by your PM. If he fails to do so your shift allowance is doomed and it is never to employees that we are supposed to make sure the EM does it. On top of that the EMs are also not aware of the policies and rules. Not sure what competency is checked / required for the EMs. Not all EMs are incompetent, some are extremely good at their tasks, but the ones who don't even approve punch ins and outs are a pain for employees.
