Pros

-Holiday Time Off (2 Weeks for Winter Break, 1 Week for Thanksgiving, & 1 Week for Spring Break) -Pension; You're locked in after 10 Years -Potlucks -Simplistic Work/Projects

Cons

-A Horrid Manager in Anica Golding. Seriously she's the worst manger I've ever experienced. She's a socially awkward dictator that has to have things her way no matter how incompetent she is pertaining to the task. She's bad at explaining directions and has no idea how insurance works. Be prepared to teach your Executive Director on Insurance affairs because she doesn't know anything outside fo Excel.. Seriously, there's a reason that no one internally wants this role. Working for Anica is depressing! -Lack of training; Another person on the team teaches you the processes and procedures not your manager who's supposed to be the knowledgeable one -Overly forced colleague engagement; Anica attempts to over compensate work engagement as a result of her lack of social life. If you decline you will be shunned. -No career development or career interest by your superiors; You'll have to proactively research and ignite conversations about development because the manger does not care about your growth pay, or future -Compensation (This role pays between 50k-60k and you'll need at least 12+ years of experience to make the high end of the range. FCS pay band steps are disgusting) -Out of date Processes & Procedures -Incompetent cross functional departments that make your job that much difficult; Contracting & Facility Services (Other departments within the admin building) will reach out to you daily and ask the same questions -Work unevenly distributed; The Risk Management team consist of a Workers Compensation Specialist, a Treasurer, The Directors Personal Assistant, this role, and a Personal Investigator. This role carries the bulk of the workload for the department and is the 2nd to least paid position just in front of the Personal assistant... Other teammates literally make 30K more than you just to work on personal endeavors at work EVERYDAY! ... its literally mind boggling -This role literally doesn't prepare you for anything else, its a semi-glorified admin role with no true responsibility or transferable skillset outside of Account Management. -Senior Management is just as incompetent; CFO walks the halls singing jingles all day but doesn't have an idea of what transpires, who does the work, and how the team is operated.

Pros

Easy to slack off and never complete your daily task.

Cons

If you’re a good worker all the lazy workers will pile work on you and management will allow it.
