RIDICULOUSLY EXCESSIVE amount of data required to ensure teachers are "doing their jobs." PDs are usually not helpful and a waste of time. 6 observations a year from people who don't seem qualified and give really trite feedback. no consistency between schools of what really constitutes an "exemplary" teachers and apparently pay is going to be eventually linked to teachers' TKES evaluations? Are doctors paid according to if their patients live? That's a really stupid notion... No consistency with resources for teachers. If you choose to work in FCS, expect to create curriculum for your classroom because you won't be given any. FCS makes new decisions every year about what new software program we MUST be using in our classroom when they don't even seek out advice from the teachers! We're the ones that know the students.
