Pros

Benefits were great and the discounts were great, coworkers were awesome!! Love the product.

Cons

Management would rather write up and have meetings for telling you what you did wrong rather than fix the problem. Whenever you brought something to managements attention nothing or little would be done. Or.. or... management would take your idea thats gold and they will claim that idea as their own.. Forcing workers to work multiple positions without compensation. Management made the executive decision to put 95% of the warehouse employees in one building making it very difficult to do your job properly. 98% of the hard workers and ones that cared for the company no longer work there.

-Great environment (slides, gym, Pops everywhere, free stuff) -Location is convenient (close to food and apartments) -Working with licensors is fun & being apart of the pop culture industry is always exciting - there is always something new

Cons

-Cliquey environment -Processes are not clear - not adequate training (you learn by making lots of mistakes) -The holiday season is crazy busy & lots of upset customers

Pros

The people at Funko are exceptional. Work-life balance. This is a place where at 5pm you can close your laptop and be well and truly done. There is a company holiday between Xmas and New Years that functionally gives you an extra week of vacation.

Cons

The leadership, across different teams, continues to be bad. I just watched the 4th set of layouts I have seen since I joined shortly before COVID (so < 5 years). Be warned, this company will start hiring again in 6 months and the cycle can begin again. The work life balance is good, the work is pure chaos. Leadership can't seem to figure out which shiny object to chase and so in some form or fashion they chase all of them. Teams are definitely not aligned and rowing in the same direction so you are always negotiating for teams to do something you need them to do. The tools to do the job are awful. Manual processes, low levels of automation and scant human resources plague the operations. Very scant opportunity for internal promotions. There isn't a clear path to promotion and in most cases there isn't an actual career path.
