Pros

The strength of this company is the designers, working with incredible IP.

Cons

They run the company like it's a small business still, even though it's a global behemoth now. So if so-and-so goes on vacation, no one knows how to do something and everyone has to wait until they get back. During the pandemic the President constantly talked about how great it is WFH, meanwhile we were cramped in an office watching the company meeting there. We did not need to be there, especially during covid. Meanwhile the CEO was on his yacht or mansion in CA (we were all in WA). Last thing I'll say is the pay is WAY TOO LOW. It was less than minimum wage in Seattle, for a corporate company position, with no benefits. $17 an hour?

Pros

Had 4 years with the company, and made great friendships that will last forever.

Cons

This place is disorganized. The higher ups only know how to point the finger and not take ownership. If it wasn't for the CEO cutting corners and burning money the company wouldn't be in so much debt. Sadly I thought I would be here forever but i was laid off during covid and came back and then was laid off again because of the financial troubles. Honestly don't bother applying because HR is horrible. They don't get back to you about the job unless you get it. You just get left with a "you will hear by this time" and then GHOSTED. Very unprofessional. Their Funko fast is a unhealthy way of telling you to work yourself till exhausted. No work life balance. The company needs MUCH MORE STRUCTURE.

Pros

Fun to see latest theatric prior to public knowledge. Most co-workers are great folks.

Cons

Horrible leadership, constant change in leadership as well resulting in lack of organization. Planning team is usually crucial part for a toy company, however, planning team blames everything with Covid and shipping issue that happened two years ago. Without product being planned to ship on time, sales do not receive commission as part of the lower pay salary system at Funko. If you do hit sales goal, leadership gives you an insane higher unachievable new goal. There is no win here really. They also recently laid off one of the only few leaders that is about to retire next year. This company has lack of empathy and does not care about employee.
