Company hired a new team lead. I was micromanaged to the point of it breaking me. My manager placed unrealistic expectations on me and belittled me so much. I wasn't allowed to have weekends or holidays off (I was required to give a daily accounting of everything I did, at what times and for how long.) Tried to get help from HR and upper management which caused my manager to become even more vindictive. I kept, and still have, all the proof of how awful that person was, (screenshots of IM, emails, video clips of being sworn at, even a couple of eye witnesses.) I also have pages and pages of proof of the amazing work I did day in and day out despite my manager's attempt to sabotage my work.

It’s hard to negotiate flexible hours and working from home, I often felt we were treated like naughty children. My wages were below the national average for my role.
