Pros
I worked for SmartBrief at the time it was acquired by Future. For me Future was a major improvement as an employer, The pay, retirement and culture improved. What did not work was the SmartBrief was heavily populated by insiders and longtimers, many of whom were in positions for which they were not qualified. This is ultimately why I left the company; no room to grow as people were territorial and more concerned over staying in power versus helping talented employees excel and thus help the company.
Cons
The then-CEO was pretty inspiring, a UK-based company can be a better than a US-based on, at least at ths time.
