      Chaotic and mean

      Pros

      They now own some of the biggest UK media brands

      Cons

      They seem to hate their brands and the people who make them. Would rather jump out of a window than invest in their own products. Management changes everything every six months. Staff churn is huge. Very frustrating and depressing place to work, unless you’re one of the grossly overpaid executives

      Pros

      People are friendly. Work office is nice. Hybrid working.

      Cons

      Awful compensation (for non senior levels), especially when London is so expensive.

      Overall a great experience for me

      Pros

      - Big business that delivers a lot of success - Hundreds of brands (some better than others) - Great autonomy and trust to deliver on your job - Acquisition strategy means it changes regularly - Fast paced - Supports good ideas that make money - Hybrid working - Multimedia giant with strong reputation in various publishing verticals (huge in tech, games, womens lifestyle, homes etc)

      Cons

      - Short term thinking makes medium/longer term growth challenging - Risk averse - Margin goals are high = regular cost cutting - Let's too many good people leave - both job cuts and leavers - Fairly thankless environment and culture (which I actually don't mind but many people do) - Websites are borderline unusable
