      Could have been a good place to work...

      Pros

      Unlimited time off (If you've cleared the deck to use it) Well known brands (PC Gamer, TechRadar, etc) Talented and motivated people You can work on subjects that you care about

      Cons

      You'll be woefully underpaid for what you do Ever changing work loads (goalposts constantly moved) Emphasis on clicks and rankings over quality of content Using time off is a rarity due to heavy work loads Few chances (if any) to move up the ladder The work can be very repetitive You won't be very well valued or listened to Pay rises are uncommon and very minor Every decision comes down from the CEO It's always quantity over quality

      Unlimited paid holiday CMS is easy to use

      Cons

      3 days a week in the office is so, so unnecessary and I cannot stress this enough. With the cost of living crisis this makes it so much more painful having to pay to get the train in. My particular job role requires a lot of concentration and working in the office is so distracting and unproductive. Working from home is great and I really don't understand why people who want to WFH can't just do it as much as they like, especially if it's more productive. The CEO pretends it's to do with the 'culture' when really it's a way to justify renting the overpriced offices. All I hear in the office is people saying how stressed they are and how annoying it is having to come in. Please do something about this, it could be a good place to work if there was more flexiblilty.

      Hi, Thanks very much for the review, we believe the unlimited paid holiday is a great perk too! Thank you for your feedback on working from home, we know it is difficult adjusting after we have all been working from home throughout the pandemic, however we truly believe that collaboration is key for our organisation to succeed, and working together in-person is a big part of that. We never want our employees to struggle financially which is why during the pandemic we set up a hardship fund that paid out over £35,000 to our colleagues.
