No really, it's so toxic

Pros

Reasonable pay, good mission, some co-workers are nice

Cons

Just look at the turnover of talented senior folks on LinkedIn, and it will tell you everything you need to know. A winning startup wouldn't lose talent at that rate. All the issues stem from the CEO. Cannot take any criticism even when he is completely wrong. Treats people like pawns to fulfill his fantasies of grandeur. Your feelings and well-being mean nothing to him, despite "humanity" being his favorite word. It's all lip service. Deeply hilarious and ironic, given he's the CEO of a workforce development company.

Pros

The work can sometimes be interesting, and people are somewhat friendly. If you’re keen on it then the Unlimited PTO is quite nice. I think on average though, people take no more than 15 days per year. They are quite transparent about the salary ranges and they reflect the market rate.

Cons

The workplace culture is toxic. The CEO can’t handle criticism and barks at people to do work that end up going no where. They can’t retain senior leadership longer than 1 year and their product market fit doesn’t make any sense. Their workplace policies are random and change frequently, and once you get to know people you’ll realize they’re not that friendly. Almost everyone has a cynical remark to say about one another, and being in a start-up is a cover up for rude and disrespectful behaviour. No room for growth, people are stuck at the same level for years as they look outward for senior talent. Do not recommend working here. To anyone looking at FutureFit as a potential employer: tread carefully, and always have a back up plan.
