I’m blown away by how much the company has grown since I started here. It’s an exciting time to be a part of a company with such rapid growth. Futurex cares about its employees and their well being. If you do your job well, work hard, and get your work done, the company will reward you for it. Futurex’s engineering culture is unlike anywhere else I have worked. From day one, I’ve worked on projects that have had a tangible impact on our customers and the quality of service that we provide. The culture is one that encourages innovation and creativity, but most of all, taking personal initiative. I’ve seen a lot of ideas come from inside engineering that have revolutionized the way that we do development on a daily basis. I’ve heard people describe a career at Futurex like sitting in the driver seat in a Ferrari. Your career will go as fast and as far as you want it to go. The company is ready, are you? The technology is challenging, and the problems can be difficult at times. But, if you love learning about new technology, solving challenging problems and taking ownership of the projects you work on, this is the place for you!
Cons
Of course, there are growing pains with being at a company that has grown in size so quickly. But, the company is committed to working out issues as they come up. An important plus for me, having worked at larger companies, is that keeping the ‘bureaucracy’ down is a priority.
