Keeps going down hill

Pros

Some team members and managers are great but it feels like it's not enough anymore

Cons

Constant fear for your job and burnout is rampant. People just randomly disappear and the workload and micromanaging has hit an all time high. For such a large company the pay and benefits are below market. Poor decisions and projections by Leadership has resulted in numerous large layoffs in the past 3 years and it seems like 2025 will be no different. Everyone is waiting for q2 to be over and see what department/roles will be laid off next. The new CFO sales influence is filtering through every department with some teams having targets that they should not have. Morale is at all time low and no one seems to care. It seems sales figures come before employees. You are just another cog in the wheel

Annual Redundancies and Zero Direction

Pros

Big budgets. Good marketing tech stack Lots of support. I learned a lot. I got to work with agencies very closely, more than I have with other companies. If I was a young marketer or sales rep., a great place to gain lot of experience and exposure.

Cons

The constant change in leadership grew tiresome. When I started it was a very international org, but became very USA centric last year. Since I began they have had annual redundancies just before Xmas. Very much everyone out for themselves, always someone to take your responsibilities from you. Lack of direction most of the time. Severe lack of sincerity - For example; (CEO) was presenting one of the All-Hands and as she came on camera, she said “I always love seeing all your faces!”. The issue with this is that it was a webinar format…she couldn’t see our faces…again, a serious amount of falseness and lack of sincerity that others lapped up and praised. I would not recommend for experienced marketers.
