Pros

A friendly and inclusive workplace A culture of recognition and reward A strong team with a clear vision for the company There is a desire for all of them to work together to reach the goals of the whole company

Cons

Sometimes the lack of communication between areas of the business can be seen as frustrating but this is really easily overcome if you are willing to put in the work, generally people appreciate the fact you have made the effort to reach out to them and are ready to offer help or feedback where necessary.

Pros

The career development opportunities at G4S are vast. If you have the right attitude and work hard then there really are no limits to where you can go in the company. This doesn't just apply to management but operational employees as well. There are some great success stories in terms of careers. G4S can be a very exciting and dynamic place to work. The areas we are involved in are vast and varied. We are the world's second largest private employer!

Cons

For some of the operational roles work life balance can sometimes be tough and can also be reliant on the skills of the supervisor. However if you are proactive and have the right skills, you can progress. You may just need to be patient, but also ensure you make your desire to progress known. And keep an eye on job opportunities in other parts of the business.

So far I have not really found many if at all. Generally the company has been a great place to work to date and I've suffered no real downsides. Sometimes the lack of communication between areas of the business can be seen as frustrating but this is really easily overcome if you are willing to put in the work, generally people appreciate the fact you have made the effort to reach out to them and are ready to offer help or feedback where necessary.
