Pros

Good people in this particular department, they are the best out of all other past jobs I've held. Most people are friendly and helpful. No one is toxic. Excellent company perks. Decent benefits.

Cons

Nearly non-existant career development in this department for the past decade. Can go above and beyond for 10 years without a promotion. Goals, performance reviews, and expectations will be geared towards career development and promotions, but it is truly non-existant unless you have 15-20 years of overqualified experience in this entry level postion. Work life balance really varies among different individuals, but it is extremely good if you've given up and realized that career development is not related to neither hard work nor performance, but that the main qualification is to reach mid-life crisis age first to be even considered for a promotion.
