Pros

Wage, start at $19, $22-23 hr after 90 days.

Cons

forced overtime including double shifts(16hr), basically if the next shift guy calls in or is late, you stay for that shift also, they will tell you this right before your shift is done. The entire break room and locker room hasnt been update in 40yrs, dirty, old. They expect you too work 12 on 2 off, expect you to work 12 to 16 hrs a day but then dont make the break room appealing, its very depressing to be there. High turn over. the offices have asbestos in the walls, 50 yr old trim.

Pros

Choosing to work for GAF has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Great Culture Team atmosphere Great Benefits and incentives Management is great to work for Many employees have made long term careers Company will continue to grow

Cons

For this position individual needs to have industry experience, would not recommend for someone who has not held a outside sales role in the building industry.

Pros

GAF offers very generous salary, commission, provides a company vehicle for field positions, and provides you with all the tools you need to succeed.

Cons

Not a con, but a field position is not recommended for someone who performs better under micromanagement. A self-starting mindset is a must.
