Cons

Work life balance is not always ideal. You need to take the initiative and some managers should encourage this more to their teams

Good benefits and pay and people are great to work with.

Cons

No automatic promotion. You have to apply for the position that is posted even for the same department and you have the qualifications. If anyone is good and padding his experiences and resumes you cannot complete.If you are not white or portuguese or a buddy you cannot get promoted.

Pros

Culture with a bias toward change, commitment to getting better and winning in the marketplace, management strives to create family environment, opportunities exist for career growth. Overall Gallo is the best in the business, and there is no place I would rather work.

Cons

More chefs in the kitchen than line cooks- decisions which require interdepartmental buy-in often take far too much time; low-risk strategic vision in some business areas which require innovation and bold thinking, bias toward change in some areas where the status who is working.
