Pros

Managers and coworkers are very nice.

Cons

There does not seem to be much direction from upper management. Budgets are tight and workers are expected to work long hours with no overtime compensation.

Enjoyed the work and the location of work.

Cons

Difficult and always changing market for this business. Management did not do a good job with forecasting or preparing for the changes in demand.

Pros

Union plant, meaning reasonable pay, and accrual of paid time off.

Cons

Management often creating shortages of parts and supplies, then pointing the finger at the people doing the "actual work," in an effort to cover their many shortcomings. Integrity, honesty, and reasonable treatment of employees is severely deficient. They were slowly and systematically doing whatever they could to try and make this plant "look like" it was inefficient in a concerted effort to outsource production and force people to be laid off in order to weaken the union.
