      Great place, tough times

      Pros

      Great people, great work life balance(vacation, flexibility, maternity/paternity) and good pay. I personally had great career growth in my time there. Great leadership programs and training (if you get in/them).

      Cons

      My cons are specific to GE's current climate; currently it is a tough time and that trickles into everything you as an employee cares about. Career growth is difficult at this time, unless you are willing to give everything for the company and smooch smooch smooch, it is difficult because there are so many people being laid off that are trying to stay. Compensation is being "hit" by the current environment; no raises, low to no bonuses, and even 401k hits. Job stability. Once GE rights the ship (because I know they will), my cons list goes down to just job stability.
