I don’t have anything negative to say

Starting at GE was a fog of disorganization and no onboarding. It was like I walked back in time 10yrs. A few months into the job I was redirected to focus on other tasks that were not the reason I joined the company. Then they laid off 80% of the organization, got rid of the project management software, and other resources. I volunteered to take on significant work to fix a LOT of issues, including legal/compliance problems, and automate tasks. Was given "meets expectations" after I improved performance by 2-3X in my work area. Was told this is because they have requirements that they can only give one person "exceeds" given our team size. I was put into their management training track but then that program was cancelled with no alternative. When I pushed for the continuing education benefits that I was told I could receive when hired they denied the existence of those benefits. The next year I continued to elevate my work with more resource loss, meeting 30% annual growth goals 1 quarter early. Wow! Still no promotion, no raise, no additional resources. Lots of communication problems especially with the corporate split. The company is swiss cheese.
