Pros

* Invests and encourages in training for new technologies. * Willing to negotiate on raises. * Work load is reasonable. * Benefits are decent. * PTO accrues quickly. * Partial-remote/work-from-home for office staff. About 2-3 days a week in office. * HR is good at reasonable accommodations. * Direct manager listens to us and works with the right people to help us. * Good bonuses for all employees when sales targets are met for the year. * Good activities for families/children outside of work hours. Such as Christmas party events at bowling alleys paid for, etc. * Company is European-based so they are ahead of the curve for diversity and mental health compared to the US and they instill these values to the US locations. * Transparent on company targets, goals, and health. Multiple town hall meetings on this a year. They take Q&A at the end of these meetings. * Anonymous employee surveys conducted every year and statistics are displayed and discussed.

Cons

* Too many layers of management. Becomes a big issue when trying to procure new hardware and software for development. Requires multiple people signing off on things. Takes a long time to get it done. * IT support is overseas and they tend to message you after hours requiring email tag. They are quick to close tickets if you fail to respond to a message after hours as they are paid per ticket closure. * Outdated IT infrastructure at the York location. Efforts are on-going to modernize it, but still on-going. * IT security can be overkill. Developers are unable to install software that helps us get our work done. Requires a lot of work with managers and IT to get it installed. * Outdated building in dire need of a renovation. 1990s era cubicles, 1960s era bathrooms, developers are working practically near a basement.
