- ok work/life balance (dependent on if you do mostly fieldwork) - good project support - ok fieldwork support - great hybrid office/home work (office-dependent) - great resources from IT

Cons

- almost no feedback loop for self-improvement - your growth is largely dependent on if your direct supervisor puts in any work - work/life balance can go bad if you specialize in fieldwork
