Pros

Good company to work for. Filled with many of the top minds of the geotech/environmental industry. Decent pay and pretty good benefits as well as profit sharing. Great work environment with lots of team building activities and fun people.

Cons

If you are good at one thing don't expect to do much else. It is sometimes difficult to expand your professional knowledge because project managers recognize what people excel at(for better or worse) and pretty much keep you doing that. Don't expect to advance very far unless you have a master's degree in your field.

It is disappointing to hear your experience at GEI. We welcome people with disabilities at GEI and know we have many people with disabilities thriving as part of our valuable team today. If anyone with a disability isn’t getting what they need and they’ve tried discussing it with their supervisor, they are welcomed to and encouraged to contact a member of our People Team for assistance. Our People Team is experienced in supporting people with disabilities and would welcome a conversation to help address and overcome any concerns. I can affirm that we are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, as evidenced by our very active DE+I committee, which supports our partnership culture. Our DE+I committee sponsored activities have achieved participation by over half of our employees in the past year. We provide discussion forums, training and educational opportunities on a variety of topics including dealing with disabilities in the workplace, and neurodiversity. We understand that there is always room for improvement in these areas, and encourage the participation of all employees to provide an inclusive atmosphere that respects all employees. I encourage you to reach out to our People Team or me so we have an opportunity to learn more about your concerns and make improvements.
