Pros

Get to work from home 1 day a week. You get better benefits than Walmart employees. If you work in sales, you have the ability to earn a bonus, albeit a shadow of what once was.

Cons

Managers are over worked and sadly, most are in way over their heads. Don't expect to receive a cost-of-living raise at the beginning of the year, There’s nothing left once the Senior Executives grant themselves 30-50% pay raises and multi-million-dollar bonuses. You got a job to do? Good luck, the over paid executives are going to provide you with the tools and a modicum of training, but you can forget about getting support when a system goes down. Why pay for customer support for the employees when you can pad that Senior Executive Bonus just a little bit more. Members of Congress and the Pentagon could learn a thing or two. I remember the days when getting hired at GEICO was an honor. Now it's a joke. If you come to work here, just make sure you have a back-up plan. Most new hires don't last a year.

Terrible leadership, no vision, toxic culture

Pros

None, totally serious. It's the worst large organization I've worked for in 25+ years.

Cons

The leadership has too many "key" priorities, but not the staff to carry them out. They pretended to roll out the 2 pizza team model, but many of us still work on multiple teams to create different products. Leadership cannot seem to narrow down their top priorities to match the amount of staff to actually get the work done and deliver. Todd Combs is just absent - he's a VC, not a CEO. Leaders just outright lie about the ability to meet deadlines and even what their staff members are working on currently. And those leaders get promoted! It's those of us actually doing the work that are overwhelmed and burned out. I can't get out of here fast enough!

Pros

Training is extensive and in depth. More than prepares you for the daily tasks.

Cons

If you don't enjoy micromanagement this is NOT the job for you. Micromanagement is the culture.
