This was by far the worst first experience for this kind of position and job I have ever held. I have trauma and serious trust issues now and will not be taking another position like this. They have ruined it and robbed me of my peace. Mentally and emotionally unhealthy and abusive. (Narcissistic, condescending behaviors. This was like being in a mental/emotional abusive relationship, but just with your job). They hire in managers that don’t have experience but DON’T train them PROPERLY. So be prepared to be raw-dogged AKA have self teaching skills & be taken advantage of. They will fail you and not take fault for their own actions, it’s ALL your fault (GASLIGHT YOU). This place will EXHAUST you mentally, leave you questioning your self worth and feeling like you don’t fit it & you’re not good enough, walking on eggshells day in and day out. Senior management has entirely no clue how to approach or treat their employees, they just micromanage to no end. And don’t even think you can TRUST your boss to stick to his initial word but especially not with anything personal (not work related) - in the event you need a day or two off or a few hours here and there. Your boss will gossip and tell anyone and everyone around your campus or other campuses your PERSONAL business that isn’t work related.
