Pros

WFH on Fridays Vending Machines Music in office

Cons

VP/Former Owner Has Unrealistic expectations and has no problem churning and burning employees. Management scared to speak up in any situation to the VP to not "upset" him. Carrier reps are not held accountable for their mistakes or lack of trying/working. COMMISSIONS ARE SLOOOOOOW, wont make any real money until you have a big CONSISTENT book. Top reps were handed their biggest accounts and have tenure.

Strong autonomy in day-to-day work. Entrepreneurial mindset, possibility to launch projects. Proximity with top management. Many international possibilities for internal moves and career progression. Equity and fair treatment in particular for women in business.

Pros

GEODIS in itself, is an excellent company to work for the pay is ok but could be improved upon. Some employees are absolutely great to work with. Some of the supervisors are great. You can easily move up promotion wise under certain conditions.

Cons

The favoritism is out of control, some people will be yelled at or even fired while others even some with 23 or more points will just be covered for. Rumors are horrible, it’s basically like being in high school again! Harassment is just on a whole other level, and you can’t go to HR for help because there part of the problem, a person can only take so much before you drive them to a end point.. a certain group will go in and tell HR something they assumed or twisted around and HR will just take them at there word, so your just left on your own with no help no way to do anything for your self. There are way too many supervisors, and very little of them even have a clue what they’re doing, for example and this is a real situation. I had a question related to the work I was doing and I had to go through 4 different supervisors just to get the same answer which was I don’t know. In the end I had just figure it out on my own which just ended up hurting my performance time.
