Management and above are playing the Generalization Game. They want everything chipped in stone so they can lead without actually getting involved in daily routines. In this business nothing is the same from day to day. You have to make changes and have ideas on the fly. But Management doesn't understand that because they don't do the work they just talk about the work, and pat each other on the back.
