Pros

Lots of potential for skill building, and you can rise quickly to the lower level of management (Lead). You'll have many opportunities to build new skills and learn how to interact with employees and customers. Interaction with the customer was awesome and if played correctly can lead to a vast amount of knowledge and opportunity. Benefits weren't too terrible. Simple work (also a con). If you are needing a job to get some cash flow and break that unemployment, and you can follow simple instruction, you'll be fine here. But it is NOT a career. If you've been there over two years you are doing something wrong.

Cons

Note. I'm only reviewing the Kansas City location, this doesn't apply to OHL as a whole. Management, the decision making of the Manager is more reactive than proactive and makes the operation suffer. The bar to even become part of the management team is painfully low, and there seems to be no qualifications needed. Turnover, this facility employees a mass of temporary workforce which means you will be constantly learning new jobs to cover the person that just walked out, or teaching others over and over. Mind numbing task, unless you are management or lucked into a rare niche position be prepared to clock out mentally for 8 to 10 hours. Pay, it's non existent. You will always be in the lowest tier of pay for your positions and to get anywhere near a non poverty level of compensation you'll have to become a supervisor (even then you'll still be underplayed, and the company will take advantage of the fact you are now salary and add ot that you won't get payed for.) Favoritism, it's in every work place and its here too. The problem here is the Manager partakes instead of quelling it. And becomes emotionally volatile when confronted about it.

Pros

Ok, pay...room to advance if you are aggressive with it. Good attendance policy, and paid time off. Will work with you if emergencies arise.

Cons

Some management is good, but many others micromanage too much. Safety could improve. Often don't keep up with changing rules.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Will work with you to ensure you have the schedule that's best for you.

Cons

Management. Makes decisions that is counterintuitive to production. Goal is 200 picks per minute. Management will appoint in experience replenisher. Don't make sense.
