Good intentions, need more
Pros
They try to hire people who are good people, the background check seemed extensive and thorough; The recruiter team is nice and dedicated, they'll give you a nice outlook of company; Local leadership is approachable, you can reach out and seek advice if needed be; If talking business, provided that you know your thing, I felt that people will actually listen to you, even if you are junior to them, they are often open to listen to issues identified and solutions proposed.
Cons
Slow career progression, they implemented a "must be at least 2 years" in a certain role before promotion, effectively gatekeeping you from evolving faster, even if deserved; A lot of "unpaid work" required for "visibility" that would be required for said promotions; Internal performance review scheme, "OKRs" are a waste of time for the lower tiers of the organisation, especially when they might change your rating from a 4 onto a 3 just to promote someone else instead; Newcomers joining and doing the same as you got a nicer salary package but you'd be stuck in past, effectively locking you to the annual raises close to inflation; I tried changing internally multiple times but was denied not due to performance or skills but:"You'd need to be based in India" and other less fortunate feedbacks; Toxic members are sometimes protected provided that they deliver good results - keeping people who sexual harass others just because they are good at their work is a quick way to exhaust everyone around said harassers; Mentoring program is limited to some, TSO (Tech) has no mentors which makes no sense given the industry;
