Pros
1. Everyone here is nice. It sounds like a generic pro but I've never been in a company where people are so willing to share, talk with you, and help in your career. This was a big reason why I applied to GEP - most consultants were willing to give me time on the phone to learn about the company and their experiences. 2. Cooperative team environment. 3. Flexibility - internally, if you demonstrate capability, the staff is willing to accommodate and work with you to retain you. HR does a great job in retaining employees and many people who leave GEP to explore other options have returned. 4. High-growth: company is growing rapidly. We grew our personnel from 3000 to over 4000 in the course of the last year. 5. Very flat organization. Even as an associate, I feel comfortable talking to VP's and our C-suite. Because of how busy they may be, however, they may not always be available. If you're self-motivated and self-driven, you will fit in as there's very little micro-management at GEP. If you need a lot of direction, you may find yourself lost.
Cons
The following cons are all rooted in growing pains: 1. Many processes are being rebuilt because of how fast the company is growing. 2. Management resources are stretched thin and thus delays occur.
