The only positive is that it's close to home.

Everything about this company. Mismanagement at every level, no work life balance, complete lack of concern for employee well being. no movement with in the company and no pay increase but many increases.

NOTHING- GFL Environmental is one of the most toxic workplaces I have experienced. The culture is sexist, the environment is hostile, and leadership does nothing to support inclusion or fairness. Their DEIB statements are performative at best, clearly in place to check a box or avoid legal consequences. There is no genuine commitment to equity or respect.

Cons

The leadership team is disconnected, unapproachable, and in many cases, openly discriminatory. Bullying is brushed aside, and discrimination is not only tolerated but often enabled by those in charge. There is no accountability, and raising concerns can make you a target. There are little to no opportunities for growth. The focus is on control, not development. Morale is low, and trust in leadership is even lower. If you value a healthy, respectful workplace where you can grow and feel safe, GFL is not the place.
