      Feels like a gang that treats employees like trash

      Paycheck. Get to learn more about the town your service.

      Cons

      Many business owners hate the company high rates. Many customers complain that their trash does not always get collected on time or at all. It was difficult hearing how much the town hated GFL.

      Cons

      Management favors certain drivers. Never any working truck, very toxic work environment. Mechanics will just write up FWN (further work needed )on every truck. Co-workers will purposely sabotage own trucks so they won’t have to help others. (Ex. Hydraulic leaks) They know who they are. Co workers will sabotage you. One instance, license plate sticker was removed after coming back from vacation. I put the license plate sticker on myself so I knew it wasn’t just a misstep.

      GFL does have competitive pay within the waste industry

      Cons

      We got no safety bonus this holiday, no one told us we wouldn’t be receiving it. Thanks for nothing!! Older trucks, always breaking down, if you whine and cry enough, you get your way with management
