Pros

Gannett Fleming cares deeply for its employees and is committed to providing a positive working environment that fosters innovation, inclusion, and the ability to grow into thought leaders. The employee resource groups have made a big impact on the culture and it is exciting to see a fifth ERG launching soon.

Cons

Many employees are still working from home; it would be great if more came in the office regularly.

Was a great place to work until they sold it

Pros

ERGs are an AWESOME resource. They have (who knows for how much longer) a director of DEI. Paid average.

Cons

Combined PTO/Sick Leave was less then ideal. Shareholders sold out to a private equity firm December 2022. After the takeover, we were initially told (January/February/March 2023) nothing would change and business as usual. Then in March/April/May, we were told we needed to be 70% billable, which is hard when you have no control over your work. Then finally things fell apart I guess half way through the year (June 2023) when they laid off 100 people.

We take all input received by our current and former employees seriously. Our vision, mission, and values remain the same and will continue to be the basis on which we operate. Our culture stems from an environment of mutual respect and collaboration where we focus on helping our employees grow and deepen their expertise in their chosen fields and the outstanding services we provide to our clients. The former Gannett Fleming shareholders did what was in the best interest of the entire company for its future growth and ability to continuously make a positive impact in our communities and our world. Admittedly, we sometimes must make difficult decisions to address the forces of change impacting our world and industry. Thank you for your input.
