Work with smart, younger people and teamwork is important

Cons

It's a glorified recruiting job with lots of cold calling and emailing. I felt like I was bugging people most of the time but there is no way to get around it. The expected hours are 8-6 but you will stay on until closer to 7. Someone has to be on a night shift every night as well as Holidays. The people that excel in this role are "on" basically all day including weekends. Ask the right questions in the interview to make sure you're the right person for the job.

-The people you work with are very intelligent, kind, and work hard. -Good client exposure. -Learn a lot about different markets.

Cons

-Very competitive environment. -Numbers are everything. -Clients workload can be brutal which makes your workload brutal. -tight deadlines -In private equity most use our competitors so everything is time sensitive.

Super repetitive, mindless work involving tons of emails and phone calls Unrealistic expectations for recruiting Huge amount of personal organization required to keep everything straight. Not much interaction or relationhip building with clients Required to respond to client emails within unrealistic time frames, even on late evenings and weekends.
