Pros

The Company as a whole is great with PTO, health care, 401k etc. Decent experience for client facing roles that may help for future endeavors

Cons

Tedious at times.. with limited technological improvements that definitely prohibited us from competing as well as we could with our competitors Your direct manager plays a significant role in the success of your job (avoid young managers that lack empathy and compassion.. or you might get fired, even if your numbers are there). It can be a politics game unfortunately.

Pros

You get to learn about the industries that you didn't even know that existed

Cons

Hard to keep work life balance since you have to serve the clients late at night depending on the status of the projects you are working on

Pros

- GLG has established a good corporate culture, people are very friendly and helpful. Even though it has a target driven environment, the corporate culture is not toxic and overly stressful. - Helpful and friendly team - Managers are keen to arrange socials given the work from home situation - Good exposure to different industries and you can learn some of the basics in equity market if you are not from a finance background

Cons

- Target is not transparent: unfortunately target didn't seem to be communicated clearly during my tenure and we have no idea how is it worked out - Limited progression in this role: the progression is not clear and it seems like you can reach a career ceiling very quickly, progression only seems possible if you move across to other teams like Client Solutions - Job can get very repetitive over time - It is a target driven job, it is probably not suitable for anyone who doesn't like working in sales/ hasn't had experience in sales
