Pros

Incentives. Morale. Coworkers were respectful of space

Cons

The pay was horrible for all we had to learn to keep afloat—being moved to another department with no upgraded pay. So forced into a lateral move. Too much micro-management ruins any position. I Was disciplined most after moving home during COVID-19 and was written up for talking to family in the background, while off the phone. Interviewed for different departments but was rejected each time. No room for growth.

Pros

The work life balance was good and I really enjoyed going to work each day...that is, until I was promoted. So if you only want to work in an entry level position and not get promoted to any other position, it's a great place to work.

Cons

There is too much favoritism and if you're not part of the "in" crowd, you're life at work is made much more difficult. People are promoted to positions of power that should not even work for the company, let alone be responsible for the growth of others. As an analyst (which is a supervisory position) you are expected to cover other analysts duties while said analyst does "special" projects for upper management, all while doing your own duties as well as any "special" projects you were "voluntold" to do (that is a word you hear A LOT!!) Also, there is no clear communication between teams and there is a lot of confusion on policies and how to interpret them, which causes a lot of conflicts between the teams and upper management. Also, be prepared to have to deal with people being inappropriate and nothing being done. I saw someone that should have been fired because he was making others (mainly women) very uncomfortable with his actions however HR would not do anything and told upper management that they could only fire him for performance issues. And that seems to be their genaric excuse for firing someone as well. I was never given a straight answer for why I was fired and was only told it was because of my "performance" however, a few weeks before I was fired, I received a great review and a $3/hr raise so that reason makes no sense. So be careful with this company. They seem great in the beginning but if you get on someone's bad side, be prepared to be let go for BS reasons.

Pros

Great culture. Management understands if you need to pick up a child from work. Hybrid (2-3 days on-site depending on seniority). As with all jobs, be sure to advocate for yourself. Make sure you can provide reasoning if you'd like a promotion. Document the things you are doing.

Cons

None I can think of
