Pros

Company culture was great. You can bring your dogs to work and sure there are constantly fun things happening in the office but only because there needs to be something to keep people at the company because the pay is awful.

Cons

I wouldn't recommend starting your career here or trying to move up. Coordinators start with about a 28k base and if you are lucky enough to get promoted within a year or two, you only get about a 10% raise... Not to mention management encourages you to not document hours that you actually work to ensure no "overtime" occurs. I think the worst part about the pay is seeing that they bill clients for 100's of dollars an hour for your position and yet you are lucky to see 14 dollars of that. Coordinators and Account Exec's should be making 40-45k base at least BOTTOM LINE.

Pros

GMR has world-class clients and provides a number of entry level opportunities to work on a diverse set of projects.

Cons

Benefits and pay are low, even by industry standards, but the biggest challenge is the lack of interest on management's part to allow key account managers to change roles or positions once they get established with a client. GMR is more concerned with keeping you in one spot to keep a client happy than allowing you to grow your career.

Everybody plays it fast and loose - which is a double edged sword.

Pros

Fun, fast-paced environment; young attractive co-workers; going to school while working is really easy.

Cons

"Management" is minimal, home office is far away and disorganized, pay is on the low side, job stability is non-existent, the path for advancement leads only to New Berlin, WI.
