Great work-life balance, but communication needs improvement
Pros
- Very good work-life balance and remote working. - Learning a lot about software and AI development on-the-job. - Initiating communication across companies (Jabra, Falcom, ...) is easy and rewarded. - Decent pay - at least I cannot really complain from the actual figures. - An independent mind is appreciated and valued, at least in the technical areas.
Cons
- Uncertainty about the future direction of the company and where I might be in one year's time. - Concerns about the overall business outlook. - Communication could be improved. While I am proactive in maintaining an overview and initiating activities, there is often little feedback or follow-up, and many people seem to be in "idle" state. - No clear career progression paths or opportunities to transition into different roles. - A company culture that places more emphasis on social or ideological initiatives than I personally prefer.
