Pros

GNC has a on-going training to make sure staff are up to date with all the new health products in the market. They make sure product knowledge and personal development are their main focus and of course sales strategies such as over coming objections.

Cons

Not enough health benefits for full time employees as well as employees who work part-time but qualify for full time benefits. Working on weekends and holidays is mandatory and is not a typical 9-5 job.

Pros

Very rewarding position if you like the retail business and to engage with customers. Not so stressful job, since many times you work alone. Have chance to meet many nice customers.

Cons

Lots of work for the salary, constant changes in prices, sales. Sometimes it's hard to find a part time employee who is will to do all the work for a minimum wage.
