Good Vision but lacking experienced management.

Pros

Good vision and story on detecting cancer early. Good amenities pre-Covid era with free lunch, snacks and drinks. Some good hardworking talented individuals.

Cons

Lack of experience with middle management - many don’t have industry experience and treat Grail as just a “tech” company without understanding Pharma/diagnostic/device industry Regulatory standards. Lack of transparency in leadership and management likely because they all lack experience. You might end up interacting with higher level role team members various functions that have way less knowledge and experience than yourself. Salary is low and not fair market value. Company not acknowledging that many are way below the industry range. Disconnected with reality.

Commercial team- Lots of opportunities to grow (lead initiatives, take ownership, implement better processes) Transparency upto a certain level, and good action - feedback loop Lots of collaboration and accountability

Cons

Management could be better Need strong tech leads Transparency and communication from leadership is poor (being nice here)
