Pros

Great employees to help you achieve success for the newbies and veterans Health plan and extras are equivalent to other places Uncapped commission Learn a lot about interviewing and you really become an expert in this process (I am never nervous on interview anymore) If you have a great boss, they keep you updated on what is going on in the market and let you know you're progress

Cons

Quality of managers have gone down and aren't clear on their expectations of the team Upper management are not really the expert in their fields anymore Too much pressure in the vaccine division to bring the US part of the company out of the hole Salary and compensation is much lower than other pharmaceutical companies and they require more work for less pay Pressure on sending letters to Senators and different government officials on healthcare plans which I believe should not be in allowed in your job Restructuring has lead to a lot of problems and a lot of animosity If your boss is lazy, dishonest and discouraging, then your whole team will suffer and you will not make any money They do not always value their employees and they are quick to get rid of you once your numbers are down.

Pros

Very professional company with good benefits and plenty of resources to support your success. Access to information about your performance is generally good. Pay seems appropriate for this industry.

Cons

There is plenty of double-speak on part of management and they are often not sincere and upfront in their communication. They have also tolerated many incompetent and overbearing sales managers for incomprehensible reasons.

Pros

Benefits and pay are outstanding; great co-workers and opportunities for personal development.

Cons

My Director gives lip service to the empowerment initiative. She continues to micromanage everyone in our area and has been doing so for 12 years. Andrew, she does not watch your broadcasts, or go to our SVP town halls. With the simplifcation taking place in IT, employees are at the mercy of those making decisions. In my case, I was moved to a new building, new boss, new group only to find out that I will be "scored" on my performance for this year only. I have been with the company in various departments for almost 19 years and my score will NOT include my performance for the first 18 years.
