      Large Pharma with global operations

      Cons

      Layoffs every 6 months, no matter who you are and what group or level you are. Morale is at rock bottom. Very limited products in the pipeline and bleak future.

      Pros

      Opportunity to work for a large pharmaceutical company was important in my career development and taught me a lot about how poorly management can perform and still pay themselves huge bonuses

      Cons

      All politics all the time. Hitting targets is not as important as kissing up to management. Targets were poorly defined and resources to achieve targets were withheld unless you kissed up.

      Good company but some toxic directors

      Pros

      Company provides very good pay and benefits (additional holidays, very good travel policy, modern facilities on site like gym, cafe, small shop, laundry, etc.). Employees from all parts of the world, most of them very friendly and helpful. Networking opportunities.

      Cons

      An health economics senior specialist is not a senior manager (and it's very difficult -impossible- to be promoted to senior manager). Very subjective appraisal, depending on the Director you report to. In the middle of integration process of external products, a pretext to fire people and freeze promotions. Some people are very toxic, don't realize they work for a company, for saving lives of people and not for themselves or not in a university.
